STRAWBERRIES!

This past Saturday was my 25th birthday, and I couldn't think of a better way to spend the morning than going strawberry picking with my husband! We convinced my sister Alison and her husband Jamal (James) to go with us, and we picked for probably 45 minutes. If you have never been before, I highly recommend it! My sister and I have our own special strawberry picking system...one for the basket, one to eat, one for the basket, one to eat. When we were done my hands looked as if I had murdered a little strawberry family. We also saw one little girl on her way out with strawberries all over her face, hands and outfit who was trying to convince her parents that she did not eat any strawberries while picking. A fun day had by all...we picked at Jean's Berry Patch...highly recommended....great strawberries. The only problem is that while you are picking them you don't want to leave any behind, but when you get home you aren't quite sure what to do with 6.5 pounds of strawberries.

This past week also marked our niece Belle's first birthday. Below is a picture of her enjoying her first cupcake...we will see her this weekend and are so excited! Have a great week!
