Welcome to dorkdom

Every now and then I seem to have a conversation with a friend that seems almost priceless. I get a lot from it, the conversation just leaves a deep impression on ones thoughts. But for the most of the time my conversations end up like this:

Jared: Ok, this seems cheesy and dorky, but then it wouldn'tÂ’t be perfect for us. The symphony is performing the music from Lord of the Rings with the NC Master Chorale this summer out at Regency Park on Saturday July 15th. If you guys want to go I can get tickets to it, we can all go, bring a big picnic and drinks hang out and listen to the music. There is also going to be projections of illustrations by conceptual artists Alan Lee and John Howe to go along with the music. This is just a thought, let me know.

Brad: Are we including wives in this? I don't want to mention it to Rebecca and then later have to tell her she can't go. She hates it when I do that to her (tee hee).

Jared: Yes, wives are invited, everyone is invited, the whole world in invited, the entire shire is invited, ok that was lame.

Brad: So...is Sauron invited? 'Cause I don't think he'd like this music....too many bad memories...

Jared: I asked, he said he would think about it and then he just looked at me. It was kind of awkward.

Brad: Well, it could have been worse. The last time he looked at me like that, I got a really bad sunburn.

Jared: That can be worse than the time he challenged me to a staring contest.

Brad: Did you win the staring contest? He challenged me to a farting contest one time and I won. He had to wash my car for a week!

So really in just a few emails time, I have proved to myself again that I am a dork, but Brad is to.

Rememberr kids the eye of Sauron is watching you!

Whoa, sorry wrong picture!

Much better! Til Next time - Jared

Oh by the way, Brad has sold out and now has a blog of his own. Check it out!
