Oh my what an exciting past few weeks. It has been a long while since I have seen some really good hockey and now we have the Stanley Cup here in Raleigh!!! A huge amount of thanks goes to the guy above, Cam Ward, 22 year old rookie goalie just did an absolutely incredible job this post season!!! There have been times during these past few weeks Amanda and I could barely stomach to watch and others where the three of us were dancing around like, well, Caniacs!! I almost didn't watch the game last night because I was so nervous, but what a game it was! Here is to you Hurricanes, enjoy every minute of it. Oh, I almost forgot the best part about winning the Cup, every team member gets to keep it for a day, do whatever with it, take it through the McDonald's drive thru, strap it in the grocery cart to just pick up a few things, or just hang out with it watching recaps of the series from your DVR!! How awesome is that!

On a continuous note, I don't think there has ever been a better time to live in the Raleigh area. Businesses are coming in left and right, RBC Centura (a Canadian bank) is moving its' worldwide headquarters downtown, they are totally redoing downtown, we are constantly listed in the top 5 best places to live, we have a great Symphony, the local music scene is great, and well it is just a great place to live so come on down to Mayberry and see what all the fuss is about!

Now onto the World Cup! Oh boy, more nail bititng. GO USA!
