Run, Ronnie, Run...

I know it has been a gazillion years since our last post, and other than my catching one of the worst cold/flu viruses of my life, we have no excuse. And to inspire me to write more often, I have told myself that our posts no longer need to be chapters in a book, but short, inspiring "snippets" of our day to day lives.

Today, Jared and I are very proud of our friend Ronnie, who ran in the Boston Marathon today. This in itself is a major accomplishment, but Ronnie was in the top 300 finishers out of over 22,000 people. 22,000 people. I cannot even comprehend that. Homeboy ran 26.1 miles in 2 hours and 47 minutes. That, in case you were wondering, is a 6 minute and 23 second mile. Unbelievable. It would take me 26 hours to run 26 miles. Way to go Ronnie. Way to go. To celebrate you today, I'll put up the only picture I have of you on my digital camera, one from your wedding! Congrats!

ps: in case you dont know who Ronnie is, Ronnie married my high school best friend Stefanie, which in turn makes him one of our best friends. He didnt really have an option, he just married into our friendship. But he is one cool playa!
