So what do you get when you put egg, flour, Texas Pete, salt, pepper, potato, chicken, and oil together? Your get fried chicken and french fries!! Amanda tried her hand at making fried chicken and fries tonight and succeeded! At least I think so, she keeps comparing it to her mom's, which is a hard task to follow, but for doing it for the first time, I think she did and excellent job at it!! I was a big help to, I went and bought splatter guards at Target today, nothing like a good ole three pack of splatter guards!
I was not the only one who thought it looked quite tempting, the third member of our family, Dixon couldn't keep his nose down!
But he is a good kid, just a little crazy every now and then. This is his "Give me some chicken before I bust Dad!" look!

Amanda - so proud of that fried chicken! I just ate, and the picture made me salivate. What's your secret? Perhaps your recipes could make it onto the blog... Hmmm....
